Yasiel Puig's breakout season

Puigmania has, as expected, cooled off a bit in recent weeks. The rest of his rookie season wasn't going to be like that historic first month. It just wasn't. We all knew that.

That doesn't mean the 22-year-old Cuban phenom's first year in MLB is now anything short of remarkable. He's still a must-watch player. He's still hitting .373/.427/.594 (with 11 homers). Certainly the infusion of energy he gave then then-last place, now-first place Dodgers is immeasurable.
