WWI soldiers laid to rest after 96 years

Lieutenant Pritchard was killed in action on May 15, 1917 during an enemy attack near Bullecourt, France and his remains were found in a field near the site in 2009. Private Elphick was born in Dulwich, South London in 1889. He was killed in action on May 15, 1917 during an enemy attack near Bullecourt, France and his remains were found in 2009. His body was eventually identified by a signet ring bearing his initials. Almost 100 years after they were killed in action, both Pritchard and Elphick were re-interred with full military honors in a private ceremony.
