The 360-degree view of London from 800ft up is nothing short of magical. Familiar landmarks like Tower of London and St Paul’s Cathedral seem to lie practically at your feet while the Oval Cricket Ground can be discerned at a distance.

At a height of over 2,000ft with majestic views over the fjords, Aurland Lookout was designed by Todd Saunders and Tommie Wilhelmsen. A massive wooden bridge, it curves seamlessly downward to perpendicularly meet the mountainside. At first glance, the structure is terrifying as there seems to be nothing to stop you from falling over the edge.

At a height of over 2,000ft with majestic views over the fjords, Aurland Lookout was designed by Todd Saunders and Tommie Wilhelmsen. A massive wooden bridge, it curves seamlessly downward to perpendicularly meet the mountainside. At first glance, the structure is terrifying as there seems to be nothing to stop you from falling over the edge.
  • Enclosed viewing platform at The Sphinx Observatory, Switzerland - An astronomical observatory, The Sphinx observatory sits atop Jungfraujoch in Switzerland at a height of 11,716ft. A train ride brings you to the railway station at the base and after an elevator ride through the tunnelled-out inside of the mountain, you will find yourself inside the observatory. There is an outdoor observation deck as well as an enclosed viewing platform. Views here include those of the Jungfrau, Eiger and Monch
