World Cup protests continue in Brazil

Protests against the World Cup erupted once again in Sao Paulo, Brazil, as a demonstration demanding free public transportation in Brazil's biggest city drew about 2,000 people on June 19, 2014. Some smashed windows at banks and car dealerships, started fires, and spray-painted anti-capitalist slogans on buildings. The demonstration began just as Sao Paulo hosted a World Cup soccer match, which Uruguay won 2-1 over England.
