Venus upset No. 12 Kirsten Flipkens on Monday at the U.S. Open, winning 6-1, 6-2 while rocking an assortment of strange looks. The purple hair might be the first thing you notice, but continue to look at some of the unconventional things that Williams had on while playing a professional sport.

The 33-year-old had surface piercings on her wrists, a bow tie on her left ring fingernail, and arguably the biggest ring I've ever seen on her left hand.
