Research firm Gartner says worldwide shipments of personal computers fell for the fifth consecutive quarter, declining 11 percent in the April-June period. Bill Hader, formerly of Saturday Night Live, is pretty clumsy with his phone, at least in new T-Mobile ads. The spots, available on YouTube, all tout T-Mobile's new program, dubbed Jump, that allows no-contract users to upgrade their phones anytime they want, whether it's day 181 of their plan or day 572. T-Mobile executives engaged in some chest-beating when they announced that they've now launched LTE services in 116 metropolitan areas in the United States, including 73 out of the top 100 metro areas in the country.
