  • Rudy Gay: Kings aren’t handling trade rumors right way

Rudy Gay has come up again and again in trade rumors. The Kings forward doesn’t seem thrilled with that. Gay, in a Q&A with Blake Ellington of Sactown Royalty: You mentioned people are wondering if you are going to be here next season. I imagine you are like most of the guys in the league and try not to pay attention to that stuff, but do you pay attention to trade rumors and does it bother you? I mean it’s been pretty loud as of late so it’s hard not to pay attention to it. I think it just goes to, I don’t know, I think there’s always ways to do things and in this situation I don’t think it’s going about the right way. No matter what your intentions to do with your players, I would think the

Yeah, Ronaldo is friends with the MMA star, and showed no ill form (and no brace of any kind) in several posed photos with McGregor. Although admittedly, McGregor’s IG game is a bit better: The Irish fighter posted a photo of himself sunning in his briefs with the caption, “I’m gonna get him on the Forbes list by next year. • Upset over contract status, Chiefs' Eric Berry won't report to camp

In the days leading up to the July 15 deadline for teams to sign their designated franchise players, the Kansas City Chiefs and safety Eric Berry were reportedly “miles apart” on a deal. Since Berry has not signed his franchise tag, and is therefore not under contract, he cannot be fined by the club. Berry’s recent battle with Hodgkin’s disease played a role in negotiations, with NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo reporting that the Chiefs wanted Berry to pay for a disability insurance policy that would have named the team as beneficiary.

As Busch drove away to his second consecutive Brickyard win, it was Kenseth who followed him across the finish line. Although Joe Gibbs Racing had brought a fleet of fast cars, Kenseth was unable to overtake Busch for the race lead. “It didn’t seem like it,” Kenseth said of whether he had anything for Busch. “We never got in front of him all day, and the clean air is always really big here.” Sunday was the third time in 17 Indianapolis starts that Kenseth finished second. More importantly, it was a nice recovery for the No. 20 Dollar General

  • Rudy Gay has 'no idea' what the Sacramento Kings are doing

Rudy Gay’s no stranger to trade rumors. The latest round of rumors came a couple of weeks back courtesy of ESPN.com’s Marc Stein, who reported that the Sacramento Kings “are actively seeking to move Gay as well as big man Kosta Koufos and guard Ben McLemore” as they look to shuffle up their roster in pursuit of better results — like, say, a .500 record and outside shot at the West’s No. 8 seed — for what feels like the umpteenth year in a row.

  • Mostly MLB Notes: Lance McCullers and a look around the league

Lance McCullers’ .382 BABIP is easily the highest in baseball (despite Houston fielding a strong defense), and his 25.7 Hard% ranks No. 135 (sandwiched between Johnny Cueto and Felix Hernandez and just behind Jake Arrieta). The top-four pitchers in this stat are Clayton Kershaw, Max Scherzer, Noah Syndergaard and Jose Fernandez, so it’s a fairly strong suggestion McCullers is due for a strong final couple of months to the season.
