Oscar Pistorius' agent, Peet van Zyl, spoke on Friday about the Olympian's return to training following the death of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp, who Pistorius is accused of murdering. Agent Peet van Zyl said Oscar Pistorius' return to competitive training is imminent, and that he is considering competing in several upcoming international meets, although participation will be dependent on the South African's form. A grainy cellphone photo of what appears to be Pistorius, wearing his blades, on the track at the University of Pretoria was published in the local media this week. It could be the first time that Pistorius has returned to the track since he was charged with the Valentine's Day shooting death of girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp. Van Zyl said Pistorius had chosen to have a jog around the track of his own accord, after which he requested a meeting with his coach and agent to discuss resuming his training. The recent decision by South African High Court Judge Bert Bam to relax Pistorius' bail conditions means the Olympian can travel internationally to compete. He could be back in action at the World Championships for athletes with disabilities, which takes place this July in Lyon, France.
