Jovan Belcher (July 24, 1987-Dec. 1, 2012) -- A long-shot to make it in the NFL, Belcher went from undrafted free agent to starting linebacker of the Kansas City Chiefs. His life came to an end in a tragic series of events when he killed his girlfriend and mother of his child, then went to the Chiefs' practice facility where he took his own life in a parking lot while his coach and general manager watched.
