Slim: Bill Clinton is conceding that he must separate from his own foundation if his wife becomes president to avoid any potential conflict of interest. He's absolutely right. Here then is the next question. The Secretary of State is the third most powerful political figure in Washington after the president because the SoS is third in line of succession to the presidency after the vice president and speaker of the house. You can make the argument that the SoS of the United States is actually one of the most powerful persons on the entire planet. Why was it OK for Bill Clinton to be so active in the foundation then...when Hillary Clinton was acting SoS? There would be a conflict of interest if she were president, but not SoS?? What kind of logic is this? How can it be that Bill Clinton is admitting there would be a conflict of interest if Hillary were president, but Hillary says there was "no conflict of interest" when she was SoS?
