    Montreal tuition protest turns ugly

    Students in Montreal took to the streets as the two-day Summit for Higher Education ended to protest in favour of a tuition freeze. Protesters clashed with police hitting them and the horses with snowballs. Montreal police have declared the strike illegal because student unions did not provide warning before staging the march.
