Joseph: Here's my view of each one's economic plan, which is one of the few important things that were discussed last night. To start, both are worthless plans despite what any global economist funded by Super PACS try and say. Ill start with Trumps. His idea of imposing tariffs on companies in order to ship their goods into the US would work over time. We would feel it in our pocketbooks for a few years, but eventually it would force them back because of declining sales. The problem, he's lowering taxes massively on the people who own these companies. So basically nothing will change. They will pay the increased tariffs with their newly found money and continue to leave their factories overseas. Their will be no trickle down as that money will be used to compensate their loss in taxes on goods. Now for Hilary's plan. Hillary calls for the government to invest in the middle class. This plan is junk as well. So lets invest in the middle class so we can open a bunch of small businesses that only hire a bunch of service employees. This isn't going to create jobs either. For one, these business will eventually close as there will be no one to buy anything from them. Two, their going to be low wage or minimum wage service jobs that are created. TO make matters worse with her plan, she wants free education. Don't get me wrong, education is important and everyone should have one, but it does no good to educate people to go have them be a barista at the new coffee house that opened. We already have an abundance of college educated people that the job market cant keep up with. These were the only important issues regarding things that will effect people in the US that were discussed and both candidates failed in my opinion.
