Kay: There are some Trump supporters who are very knowledgeable regarding facts and are willing to overlook Trump's difficulties with the truth for philosophical reasons. Those are not his base. His base relies on emotion and vague slogans for their information. The impression seems to be that Trump is more truthful than Clinton. Seriously??? The Pulitzer prize-winning fact-checker PolitiFact has checked a large number of statements from both candidates and as of June of this year found that Trump had made 128 false statements versus Clinton's 32. Trump had 30 claims that were found to be pants-on-fire whoppers vs, Clinton's 1. I know it's useless to point this out to his base, who are repulsed by facts and data, but I challenge them to show me where PolitiFact is inaccurate. Now sit back and wait for the barrage of anti-Hillary generalities with no specifics to back them up. Guaranteed, That's all they can come up with.
