Jeremy O: What dedicated Trumpites will try to ignore or downplay is, beyond everything else in this debate, beyond his constant incoherent word-salad answers, belligerence, rudeness and general lack of anything resembling an actual plan,is this: Trump was once again fact checked as false or misleading at a far far higher rate than Clinton. Its not even remotely close. And then he, on national TV, went on to repeat and defend thoroughly proven lies, sometimes vigorously All politicians bend the truth to some extent. Political Spin is part of the job. But Trump's lies are both obvious and extraordinarily high in number, and in many cases are just plain stupid. WHen you combine that with the fact that, as CLEARLY displayed last night he can't take criticism at all, you have a man who is just not temperamentally or mentally suited to the task of being commander in chief. This is so painfully obvious that I wonder why so many American's ignore that fact. Party loyalty? Blind hatred of Clinton? Sheer ignorance? The simple and at this point undeniable fact is Donald Trump is as temperamentally suited to be President as a blind, deaf Chihuahua is to be a service dog... for a blind guy.
