Championship starved cities: 20 years or longer without a title

For every Titletown -- Green Bay of the 1960s, Pittsburgh of the '70s, Boston of the 2000s -- there are numerous championship starved cities aching for a breakthrough. The Warriors not only won their first title in 40 years by beating the Cavaliers for the NBA Finals, but they also put an end to Oakland's 26-year championship drought.
