more O.J. Brigance, former linebacker and current director of player development for the Baltimore Ravens, sits near the Ravens' Vince Lombardi Trophy from the 2001 Super Bowl, in which Brigance played, at the NFL football team's practice facility in Owings Mills, Md., Sept. 5, 2012. Brigance was diagnosed in 2007 with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. The manner in which he's fought ALS has been inspirational to the Ravens, notably linebacker Ray Lewis. (AP Photo/Steve Ruark)
