Brazilian fans and players are still sad

The Netherlands beat the zombified corpse of Brazil's national team 3-0 in the ultimately meaningless World Cup third-place match, finally bringing an end to the host nation's drawn-out nightmare after one last bit of torture. Combined with Brazil's 7-1 loss to Germany in the semifinals, this marks the first time the nation with more World Cup titles than any other has lost two consecutive World Cup matches since 1974.
