Baseball Hall of Fame 2013 ballot breakdown

Yahoo! Sports' Kevin Kaduk and Dave Brown of Big League Stew look at the 22 worthy players from the National Baseball Hall of Fame's 2013 class and assess their chances of being elected on this ballot. The inductees will be announced Wednesday.

BBTF projections come from BaseballThinkFactory.org and are based on 105 ballots that already have been revealed by their voters.

Larry Walker

Walker enters his third year of eligibility and has yet to receive a good mark from a voting bloc that looks at his Coors Field-aided numbers with suspicion. The 1997 NL MVP's career stats (383 homers, .965 OPS, seven Gold Gloves) are certainly impressive but his longevity and durability leave him a little bit short. We think he'd be a first-ballot "Hall of The Very Good" inductee but only gets into Cooperstown if you're an advocate ... more
