Baseball Hall of Fame 2013 ballot breakdown

Yahoo! Sports' Kevin Kaduk and Dave Brown of Big League Stew look at the 22 worthy players from the National Baseball Hall of Fame's 2013 class and assess their chances of being elected on this ballot. The inductees will be announced Wednesday.

BBTF projections come from BaseballThinkFactory.org and are based on 105 ballots that already have been revealed by their voters.

David Wells

A lot of fun to watch, pretty much as if a Hell’s Angel pitched. Wells had some amazing command — only 719 walks in 3,439 innings. He had no Cy Youngs but four All-Star appearances. Wells also tossed a perfect game and had an extensively great postseason record. He will be one of the more memorable players not in the Hall of Fame.
