Baseball Hall of Fame 2013 ballot breakdown

Yahoo! Sports' Kevin Kaduk and Dave Brown of Big League Stew look at the 22 worthy players from the National Baseball Hall of Fame's 2013 class and assess their chances of being elected on this ballot. The inductees will be announced Wednesday.

BBTF projections come from BaseballThinkFactory.org and are based on 105 ballots that already have been revealed by their voters.

Don Mattingly

The Dale Murphy of New York, Mattingly simply didn't have an extended run of dominance that would have put him firmly in the Hall of Fame discussion. This is his 13th year on the ballot and it's safe to say he'll drop off in two winters without seeing induction.
