Baseball Hall of Fame 2013 ballot breakdown

Yahoo! Sports' Kevin Kaduk and Dave Brown of Big League Stew look at the 22 worthy players from the National Baseball Hall of Fame's 2013 class and assess their chances of being elected on this ballot. The inductees will be announced Wednesday.

BBTF projections come from BaseballThinkFactory.org and are based on 105 ballots that already have been revealed by their voters.

Bill James famously said that you could split Rickey Henderson's stats in two and still get two Hall of Famers. Well, Raines had better numbers than half-a-Rickey and he's still not in the Hall of Fame as he appears on the ballot for the sixth time. He does have a lot of Internet-based support behind him, though, and it's hard to believe a Bert Blyleven-style push won't eventually get him in. Just not this year. – KK
