Baseball Hall of Fame 2013 ballot breakdown

Yahoo! Sports' Kevin Kaduk and Dave Brown of Big League Stew look at the 22 worthy players from the National Baseball Hall of Fame's 2013 class and assess their chances of being elected on this ballot. The inductees will be announced Wednesday.

BBTF projections come from BaseballThinkFactory.org and are based on 105 ballots that already have been revealed by their voters.

Edgar Martinez

This is Martinez's fourth time on the ballot and voters still are tripping over the fact that he was a DH for the majority of his career. But the Mariners asked Edgar to hit and hit he did, making his name synonymous with the position after racking up a .312 career average with 309 homers and a .933 career OPS.
