Rustam Totrov Biography
While Totrov has yet to claim a gold medal at any major international competition, some podium finishes and a string of firsts at other events have him positioned for a potential medal in London. Totrov finished seventh at the most recent European championships in March, which followed a third-place finish at the 2011 world championships - his highest finish at either event. Totrov won a Golden Grand Prix event in 2009 and has won the Ivan Poddubny Tournament three years in a row (2010-12).
