Yes, very proud of you and love to see such class, and the sheer joy you displayed. Everyone one who skate races works for position and some bumping goes on. She does not cheat she just works harder I have yet to see a race without contact. I''m lovin it

I can't believe the way the ladies team reacted after learning that their pathetic performance at the 3000m would be "just enough" to get the bronze...waving the American flag when the korean team was disqualified. I understand that you should be happy with your effort, but they clearly were the inferior team during that final race. As Americans, they are representing all of us, and to wave the flags in an almost haughty fashion in front of the korean team displays tactlessness and almost implies that we accept mediocrity and that we are hungry to win at all costs, even for a bronze medal. I'm not saying that they don't deserve it, but that they should show more reverence for a korean team that clearly displayed a more superior performance on the ice that day. Stay classy ladies...stay classy...

i cant believe she made in to the finals for 1500meters. I watched many of her races, and she was pushing and causing other skaters to fall. She shouldve DQ'd way before. She maybe a good skater, but she's gotta learn how to keep her hands to herself; I learned that im elementary.

In the competition with Chinese player, the video did not show the very detail (NBC: looks she lost control when cut from inside, and then caused all the problems). But in the final, it was very very apparent that she pushed the Korean player, and caused her to lose the medal.
It is not without reason that she is called "bulldozer-on-ice".

I disagree that she caused the fall. The chinese skater threw a blatant elbow as Catherine was passing her. I thought the officials made the right call allowing Catherine and the woman who was in second place at the time an advancement.

actually i was pretty annoyed by reutter's play, too. i can't believe why that chinese girl was disqualified instead of reuttter. she was the one who cut from the inside, and fell first on her own, tangling up with two other players. in the 1500m race she almost did the same thing and pushed another player's butt, making that player almost fall. i think she should stop doing that.

shameless strategy of pushing other players. used many times across several years. shame on you as an american.
