- Two-time Olympic bronze medalists Zhao Hongbo and Shen Xue retired after winning their third world title in 2007, but decided to try one more time for that elusive Olympic gold medal. This comeback is actually easier than the long road they had to the Turin Olympics, where they competed just six months after he ruptured his Achilles tendon. Older than most skaters, so staying healthy is the key to their success. Have been dominant since returning, winning both of their Grand Prix events and Grand Prix final.
