- Secured a trip to Vancouver with a win at the Olympic Trials in Steamboat Springs, Colo., finishing with a clean run to beat out Emiko Torito. With the pressure off, Kearney can relax slightly and focus on preparation for February. "It's going to make the rest of the year less stressful," she said.
- Led an American sweep of the top four places in a World Cup event in New York on Jan. 21.
- Was a favorite to take gold in the 2006 Olympics in Turin, but didn’t make it out of the qualifying round.
- Suffered a torn left ACL at a World Cup event in France on Feb. 5, 2007. Returned to competition in ‘09, performing admirably in every World Cup event she participated in. Started off with a win in the first World Cup event of the year in France. Then headed to Mont Gabriel, Quebec, where she came in third before stunning the crowd with second- and first-place finishes at the VISA Freestyle International at Deer Valley Resort in Park City, Utah.
- Won bronze at the World Championships in Japan before wrapping up the season in Sweden with a win.
- Grabbed first place at the Worlds in ‘05.
- Was the national junior moguls champion in ‘02, and made her first World Cup appearance on Jan. 11, 2003, finishing 26th in Quebec.
