Athlete Profile
- Hansen, the current junior American record holder in the 1,500 meters, earned a spot on the 2010 Olympic team by finishing third in the 1,500 at the 2009 U.S. Speedskating Championships in Salt Lake City. Hansen set another U.S. junior American record in the 10,000 meters with a time of 13:36.28 to bring his junior American record total to four. He was second in the 5,000 meters and third as part of the team pursuit at the 2009 World Junior Championships.
