  • Enters the Olympics as the biggest star in women's cross-country skiing after winning two world championship titles and the overall World Cup last season
  • Dominated this year's Tour de Ski and leads the overall World Cup
  • A big favorite to win the opening 15-kilometer freestyle event and the 15K skiathlon pursuit
  • Became the first Pole to win an Olympic cross-country medal when she took bronze in the 30K at the 2006 Turin Games
