Athlete Profile
- An emerging force on the South Korea team, Cho may contend for an individual medal in the 1,000 meters as well as on the 3,000-meter relay team.
- Cho won her first World Cup gold medal as part of the 3,000-meter relay in the 2009-10 season-opening event at Beijing and notched her first individual World Cup gold in the 1,000-meter race in the second World Cup event at Seoul.
- Cho also placed second in the 1,500 meters at the World Cup event in Montreal and also claimed a runner-up finish in the 3,000-meter relay at Marquette, Mich.
