Athlete Profile
- The 21-year-old Frenzel is an up-and-coming talent who was part of Germany's silver-medal team at last year's World Championships. He enters his first Olympics buoyed by five World Cup podium finishes this season and is part of the reason Germany is a strong medal contender in the team event. His only World Cup win came in 2008 in a mass-start event _ a format that is not used in Vancouver.
