Athlete Profile
- A threat to medal in all four short-track events, Wang is looking to add to her haul from Turin in 2006, where she captured gold in the 500 meters, silver in the 1,000 and bronze in the 1,500.
- Wang is the odds-on favorite in the 500 after winning gold medals in three of four World Cup events this season, and also placed first in the 1,000 meters at Marquette, Mich., improving upon second-place finishes at Seoul and Montreal.
- She picked up a relay gold in the 3,000 meters at both Seoul and Marquette after a disappointing fourth-place finish in Beijing.
