Highlights
Diverse is one way to describe Stratton Mountain School graduate Lindsey Jacobellis, who has one both World Cup events and major national competitions in both halfpipe and SBX. Unbelievable is another. She is an SBX expert, but says that her training is 75 percent halfpipe.

Update
Lindsey put all doubters in their place in 2005, solidifying her place on the top of the world in both halfpipe and SBX with a World Championship in SBX and two pipe wins on the Grand Prix series to claim the overall women's title. Though she says her preparation plans for the Olympic season are "confidential," it's likely you'll find this multi-talent playing lacrosse and ripping around the family property on ATVs and motocross bikes. To offset an August trip to New Zealand to train on snow, 'Lucky Lindsey" plans to fire the Olympic fever with some surfing and a little wakeboarding.

Start-up
Brother Ben introduced her to snowboarding in 1996 and Jacobellis honed her skills in the Stratton Mountain School program before moving into the U.S. Snowboarding Grand Prix series.

Personal
It's difficult to think of such a competitive and talented athlete as a fashion aficionado, but Lindsey is a big fan of collecting shoes. On the road, she is the team Blockbuster, always packing the movies and more books than anyone else. But that doesn't mean she won't kick your butt in Halo 2 on her X Box ... She also loves to surf and can knit cool hats... Some of her favorite things: food: Hebrew National hotdogs; music: anything '80s; tv show: "Will and Grace;" movie: "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days;" book: "Clan of the Cave Bear" series; place to ride: Steamboat, CO; person she'd most like to meet: Orlando Bloom.
