David Boudia Biography
Boudia is looking to win his first Olympic medal in his second appearance, and he may have two realistic shots at the podium. The most decorated diver of the group Team USA is sending to London other than four-time Olympian Troy Dumais, Boudia is a 16-time national champion, dominating the individual and synchronized 10m platform events three years running. He also competed in both platform events at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, where he and partner Thomas Finchum placed fifth in the synchronized platform. Boudia finished 10th in the individual 10m platform at Beijing, but it wasn't for a lack of difficulty - his dives had the highest degree of difficulty in the finals. Boudia will be teaming with Nick McCrory in the synchronized event this time around. He and McCrory won this year's FINA Diving World Series event in Tijuana, Mexico, and finished fifth at the 2011 world championships.
