  • Recorded his first USA Outdoor championship in the 110m hurdles in 2007.
  • 2006 season was another strong one for Trammell, beginning with success indoors in winning his third career national title in 60 meter hurdles, followed by winning gold medal at World Indoor Championships in Moscow in world-leading time of 7.43 seconds.
  • Trammell's 2005 season was highlighted by personal-best performance of 13.02 seconds in placing third at USA Outdoor Championships in Carson, Calif.
  • Enjoyed another banner season in 2004, highlighted by win at the Olympic Trials, and second silver medal (13.18) at 2004 Olympic Games in Athens. Finished second to Liu Xiang of China, who equaled the world record with time of 12.91.
  • In 2003 Trammell won another silver medal at World Outdoor Championships in Paris.
  • Had an outstanding 2000 and '01, winning 2000 Olympic silver medal and going unbeaten in 60m sprint and hurdles indoors in 2001, winning World Indoor title in hurdles.
  • Nearly two years of collegiate and then world-class competition took its toll late in 2001 and in 2002 indoors, when he struggled. Came back to win 2002 USA Indoor title at 60m, providing a spark for outdoor season.
  • Formerly coached by Curtis Frye, Trammell's closest training partner for many years was 1996 Olympic gold medalist Allen Johnson.
  • Was track team captain while at South Carolina.
