Athlete Profile
- The face of American beach volleyball since the turn of the century.
- A three-time Olympian, finishing fifth with Holly McPeak at the 2000 Olympics in Sydney before winning the gold medal with Kerri Walsh in 2004 at Athens, and the pair is the favorite again entering Beijing.
- The two have been perfect on both the FIVB and AVP circuits in 2008, winning all 12 events entered, including nine on the AVP Tour.
- Has dominated the domestic and international scene since partnering with Walsh in 2001.
- Named AVP's Best Offensive Player for the fourth straight year, Best Defensive Player for the second straight year and MVP for the third consecutive year.
- Holds the overall record for titles with 37, 34 with Walsh and three with McPeak.
- Currently first on the Olympic list despite playing only the minimum eight FIVB events to be considered.
