- At 16, Isaksen will become the second youngest female in history to compete in the Olympic modern pentathlon - behind Egypt's Aya Medany who was 15 in the 2004 Athens Games - when she travels to Beijing for the Summer Games.
- Finished second at a World Cup event in Mexico City and the NORCECA Championships in March.
- She earned an Olympic invitation from the international modern pentathlon body on June 1 via a tiebreaker.
