Athlete Profile
- Won a gold medal at the 2007 Qingdao International Regatta in Laser Radial at the site where the Beijing competition will be held.
- Currently the No. 1 ranked woman in the world in Laser Radial.
- Lost out to fellow American Paige Railey for the 2006 Rolex National and International Yachtswoman of the Year awards, but beat Railey to win at the U.S. Olympic trials in October 2007.
- Had a great year in 2006, when she won the Rolex Miami Olympic Classes Regatta, finished 2nd at the North American championships and took 4th at the world championships, all in Laser Radial.
