  • Blanik is a specialist in the vault, an event in which he is regarded as one of the most powerful athletes in the world. He is the reigning world champion, having captured the gold with a score of 16.512 in 2007 at Stuttgart, Germany. He competed in five other events at Stuttgart, although he didn't crack the top 100 in any of them, and failed to reach the finals in the men's all-around competition, placing 66th.
