  • Ran the 200m dash in 19.75 seconds at the 2007 Jamaican Championships, breaking the 36-year-old national record held by 1970s and 80s Olympic star Dan Quarrie.
  • Took silver at the 2007 World Championships in Japan, running the 200 in 19.91 seconds to finish behind the United States' Tyson Gay (19.76).
  • In 2004, broke former U.S. star Lorenzo Daniel's world junior 200m record, finishing in 19.93 seconds to become the first junior to break the 20-second mark.
