Forget Obama or McCain, I want a president who can deflect questions with the graceful elusiveness of Bill Clinton while speaking in circles like George W. Bush. IOC president Jacques Rogge fits the criteria (except for the whole being Belgian thing).
Speaking to reporters today about a particularly smoggy afternoon in Beijing, Rogge said:
“The fog you see is based on the basis of humidity and heat. It does not mean to say that this fog is the same as pollution. It can be pollution, but the fog doesn’t mean necessarily that it is pollution."Got that? I think Rogge was just confused as to what the meaning of 'is' is.
