- At only 3 years old, Yoshida followed her father and two older brothers into wrestling. Her father, Eikatsu, was a national champion in 1973.
- Earned her fourth straight world tite in 2006, increasing her winning streak in international matches to 100. Would increase her run to 119 before suffering her first international loss in January 2007, falling to American Marcie Van Dusen at the Team World Cup series in Beijing.
