- The Buckeyes will play three primetime football games in the upcoming season. Oct. 6th vs. Nebraska, which will also be Homecoming Night, Oct; 18th at Indiana, and Oct. 27th at Penn State.

- The Huskers will be making their first trip to Ohio Stadium since the 1956 season, while the Buckeyes travel to Happy Valley for the first time since 2009.

- B1G teams will affix the Conference Patch to their uniforms this season.

- The Buckeyes honored the Columbus Bicentennial in the Spring Game with "200 Columbus" patches.

- A Tressel tradition will continue under Urban Meyer. (Carmen, OH)

- While a new tradition emerges.

- The #63 Women's Tennis team advanced to Quarterfinals of the B1G Tourney with a 4-2 win over #50 Penn State.

- OSU remains in second place in the Director's Cup standings, behind only the Cardinal of Stanford. The Bucks lead a group of 5 B1G teams in the top 10.

- Urban Meyer will pair up with Jeff Logan in the Chick-fil-A Bowl Challenge. They are in the same group as the 2011 winners, Paul Johnson and Jon Barry of GaTech.

- Lady Buckeye Track and Field Team pulls in three bronze medals in the first day of the Penn Relays.

- Three Buckeye Men's Tennis players were named to the First Team All-B1G team. Two grabbed Second Team honors. That's 21% of the entire team.

- And their coach was presented with his 7th consecutive Coach of the Year Award. (Take THAT Ferentz!)

- All the while, they shut out Nebraska to advance to the Semis in the B1G Tourney.

- #13 Women's Lacrosse team finishes up the regular season with a contest against #19 John Hopkins.

- Rifle team has a new coach, and he's kind of a big deal.

- Rachel Rohanna was named the B1G Golfer of the Week. Her handicap is at least 15 strokes lower than mine. Plus, I bet she drives from the men's tees. My best game is putt-putt.

- Alayna Markwordt was named a Tewaaraton Award Nominee, given to the Nation's best Male and Female Lacrosse player. Congratulations to Alayna on this wonderful recognition.

- Christina Manning was named the B1G Track Athlete of the Week.

- The National Champion Buckeye Men's Volleyball team takes on Lewis tomorrow at St. John's to play for a trip to the National Championship Game. Go support them for less than the price of a Subway Footlong.

- Shawn Sangrey is named to the AVCA (American Volleyball Coach Association) All-America First Team after grabbing Second Team honors a year ago. Congratulations to Shawn on this prestigious honor.
