A highly skilled post player, Thompson not only can score with his back to the basket, but he is also comfortable handling the ball in the back court and playing facing the basket. Not overly athletic, Thompson’s body is gaining muscle as he also has improved at running the floor.

Jerry Meyer serves as a national scout and recruiting analyst for He played at Lipscomb University where be became college basketball's all-time career assist leader. Meyer earned Mr. Basketball honors in the state of Tennessee as a high school junior and senior. He has served as an assistant coach at Vanderbilt and also co-authored the book, "Basketball Skills and Drills."
