The San Jose Sharks had just enough to stay perfect. Lukas Kaspar scored his first NHL goal and Brian Boucher made 21 saves to lead the Sharks to a 1-0 victory over the Los Angeles Kings on Sunday night. Kaspar whisked a wrist shot from the right circle past Kings goalie Jason LaBarbera midway through the second period to help the Sharks continue their flawless start (3-0).

Shortly after Todd McLellan became the San Jose Sharks' new coach, he recognized the importance of convincing his talented team to shoot early and often. With 82 shots and two easy wins in their first two outings, the Sharks are clearly paying attention to their new bench boss.
