The Ottawa Senators notched their 12th win in the last 13 games with a 3-2 come-from-behind win over the visiting Calgary Flames on Tuesday.

One game after being overrun by Alex Ovechkin and the Capitals, the Rangers fared much better Saturday against newcomer Ilya Kovalchuk and the Devils.

The reason?

It was as simple as the sharpest game in weeks by goalie Henrik Lundqvist, who stopped 41 of 42 shots to halt a personal six-game losing streak, including a wild 6-5 loss Thursday against Washington.

"I just tried to battle the last two weeks," said Lundqvist, who is 17-6-5 in his career against the Devils. "I have been working hard. It was an intense game, fun to play in and a big relief to get a win at home. It is a big one for us to get, in a lot of ways."

Lundqvist also shined the previous time the Rangers faced New Jersey on Jan.
