The Devils don't play again until Wednesday night against Anaheim, but a franchise legend will get his due among the greats in hockey history two days earlier.

Devils president and general manager Lou Lamoriello will be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in the builders category Monday in a star-studded class with former NHL players Brian Leetch, Brett Hull, Luc Robitaille and Steve Yzerman.

"There's no question it's touching," Lamoriello said. "It just really reflects, or I use the word flashback, of how fortunate I have been to be associated with two organizations for the period of time in both, and then be surrounded by such quality people, whether it's coaches or players, because any recognition to someone like this in this position is really the sort of result...

The next batch of good fortune came when Niclas Bergfors busted out with a pair of third-period power-play goals.
