Ben Bishop is the best goalie the Tampa Bay Lightning have ever had suit up for them. Bishop will likely not be wearing a Tampa Bay uniform when the 2017-18 season kicks off. There isn't much arguing those two statements. Every since Steven Stamkos decided to keep his talents in Tampa, speculation has run rampant on what the impact would be to the team. The organization has been able to keep their players so far. Victor Hedman squashed any chance of him leaving by signing an extension immediately as the window for him to do so opened. Alex Killorn declined arbitration in exchange for many truck loads of money (a Harvard Man sound decision). Unfortunately, there are still many, many loose ends
It takes a lot to get in shape for the NHL season and many players put in long days of intense work outs, but probably no one is doing it quite the same way as Alex Galchenyuk. The Canadiens forward posted Instagram videos of his unique training regiment which includes pulling tires through the woods and hurling them through hockey nets. It all looks primitive and intense. Seriously, dude is a beast. Maybe this is just how they do things in Minsk. Galchenyuk does take his workouts indoors sometimes, but only if he can wear prison chains. The NHL season officially gets underway in about two months and Galchenyuk is sure to be jacked.
