Joe Louis Arena has been like a haunted house for Dallas Stars goaltender Marty Turco. He's now 0-8-2 there after his team dropped a 4-1 decision to the Detroit Red Wings Thursday in Game 1 of the Western Conference finals.

And if he expects to finally break through and win a game there, he must find a way to see through the traffic the Wings created in front of him in Game 1. Johan Franzen and Tomas Holmstrom scored power-play goals on deflections from right in front of Turco's face.

Detroit did a good job all night getting bodies to the net and boxing Turco inside his crease. He's an athletic goalie who likes to wander out of his crease and play the puck and does an excellent job of moving it to his defensemen.
