Jere Lehtinen stood in the Stars' locker room after a recent morning skate. The question wasn't so much on the record as just part of casual conversation: How are you feeling?

But for Lehtinen, that question is as loaded as they come, because these last few seasons, Lehtinen has had more not-so-good feeling days than he would care to remember. Groin issues have been the main culprit for Lehtinen, who played in just his 11th game this season on Saturday night. All the veteran wants to do is stay healthy for a while and contribute to this Stars team on a regular basis.

On Saturday, Lehtinen had one of his better games in some time. And that ought to go far in making him feel better.

The Dallas Stars wasted a two-goal lead late in regulation before Tom Wandell saved them in overtime. Wandell scored at 2:12 of overtime to give the Stars a 4-3 victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday night. Tampa Bay rallied from two goals down to send it into the extra session, and Wandell ended it with a sharp-angle shot from the edge of the right circle off Loui Eriksson's pass.

The Dallas Stars recalled left wing Fabian Brunnstrom from the Texas Stars of the AHL and activated center Brian Sutherby from injured reserve before their game Saturday night against the Tampa Bay Lightning. Brunnstrom, who missed eight games with a right shoulder injury and is coming off a two-game minor-league rehab assignment, has one goal and six assists in 17 games for the Stars this season.

The NHL has suspended Dallas Stars forward James Neal two games for a boarding infraction that injured the Columbus Blue Jackets' Derek Dorsett. The NHL announced the discipline on Friday.
