    Heika: I think that starting with Kari Lehtonen and Antti Niemi is a smart option. The duo did work out OK last year and should be better to start this season. If they start well, it would make trading either a bit easier. The other wildcard is the fact each team will only be able to protect one goalie in next summer's expansion draft. That could cause teams to consider trades they normally wouldn't, especially after January. I think the Stars have a new goalie in net when the playoffs begin. The tournament will be divided into two four-team divisions, and teams will play each team in their division in a round-robin format before a crossover on the final day of the tournament.
